About Lindsey Whitfield, BSN, RN-BC
Lindsey is the acting Chief Nursing Officer with two decades of specialized skills, education, and experience she acquired while working full-time at local hospitals in the Knoxville community.
Lindsey’s passion for health and wellness lead her to Revitalist to work alongside anesthesia and therapy professionals working in a team setting to best address health needs that so commonly seem to be overlooked.
Growing up in Knoxville allowed Lindsey to see firsthand the negative effects of unaddressed mental health and addiction issues and the impact these often overlooked areas caused on the person, family, and economic system. This led Lindsey to a combined love of nursing and legal medicine.
Lindsey initially worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2004 specializing in cardiac nursing. In 2008, she obtained her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing where she worked full-time in critical care cardiac units including the Cath Lab, Operating Room, Peri-Operating Area, and the Intensive Care Unit.
Lindsey’s most recent accomplishment came in 2019 when she became board certified in cardiovascular nursing, receiving her Cardiac Vascular Nursing Certification (RN-BC).
