Kayla is a compassionate professional with over 7 years experience as a counselor. She has a B.A. in applied psychology and a M.A. in counseling. She also holds a LPC-MHSP. She is passionate about walking alongside individuals while they navigate their healing journey. She has experience working with individuals with a variety of mental health symptoms including those struggling with: depression, anxiety, PTSD, schizophrenia, ADHD, and bipolar disorder. She also has experience working with individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Her work experience is varied and includes: intensive case management, residential, jail diversion, outpatient therapy, crisis, hospital, and school-based therapy. She has supervisory experience in the community agency setting. In her free time, Kayla enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is especially fond of her time with her niece, nephew, and her dachshund, Jake.
