Ketamine infusion therapy is a rapidly growing field alternative that is being researched at top universities around the world. Ketamine clinics have opened around the country and are having notable success in this therapy as there is little to no downtime for patients with results noted many times in the same day.

Yale University initiated the first study in the year 2000 with remarkable outcomes. Since then, hundreds of studies have been conducted at major institutions including Harvard, Johns Hopkins, the National Institutions of Health, Mount Sinai Medical School, Columbia University, Cleveland Clinic, The Florida Spine Institute, and Oxford University.

Ketamine infusion therapy has also been placed on Fast Track with the FDA for approval in treating depression.

Patients that once did not have additional options now have a quality option that is showing improvement in greater than 70% of patients with their initial treatment. Results are noticed quickly as Ketamine crosses the blood brain barrier allowing for a maximal plasma level at 40 minutes. Many patients notice a difference in as little as one infusion.

Infusions involve a sub-anesthetic dose of Ketamine over a period of 40 minutes to 4 hours depending on the patients presenting condition. Patients are able to talk throughout the infusion keeping the patient on a comfortable level with the provider.

Intravenous low-dose ketamine is the recommended route of administration as the bioavailability is almost double from other routes of administration.

Patient treatments are conducted in a private and safe environment with monitoring devices, accessory equipment, and an oxygen supply in the event they are ever needed.  We accept patients with many co-morbidities and feel comfortable with giving these patients the utmost care they deserve.  Patients are in a controlled environment as we prioritize safety and comfort for both the patient and outside practitioner referring to the clinic.

We utilize objective scales that specifically focus on the condition the ketamine infusions are addressing and will update the referring provider during and after the treatment cycle. Referring providers may also request to be updated after each infusion. Please email us at in order to request these updates.

Unless otherwise requested, providers will receive a follow-up progress note entailing the patients progress of recommended treatment cycle. If additional information is required, we would be glad to comply in order to best benefit the patient and provider.

Patients will be treated as often as deemed necessary by the clinic depending on the patients history and evaluations or as recommended by the referring physician with regard to the recommended treatment cycle that allows the patient the greatest relief for the longest duration possible.

A summary of current research indicates that Ketamine inhibits NMDA receptors causing a flux of glutamate allowing the production of Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factors to be released in the frontal cortex and hippocampus allowing an increase in neuroplasticity and synaptogenesis. This cycle of events allows patients a quality approach at naturally rebuilding their pathways that are glutamate based instead of being based on their disease process that is only growing without these notable treatments.

Treatments costs range from $314.10-$800/session. Our goal at Revitalist is to be affordable for as many patients as possible causing the greatest effect for those needing it the most. We will work with your patient to an agreed financial plan if necessary.  Insurances are typically not covering the costs upfront, but will consider reimbursement after the treatment cycle is complete.
